Owner operated, cozy with a cool vibe, somewhere a food show might feature as a hidden gem in st-Jean. Excellent hot sauce selection, good pricing to food ratio and quality product. Only issue is parking so think ahead and act quick!

The food was great. I got the bibimbap with pork and pineapple. My wife got a taco bowl with chicken. We got our order to go. The server behind the counter seemed suicidally depressed or painfully shy or both. Maybe it was my terrible French. Can't say for sure. But she seemed lost in some fundamental way. She forgot to give us cutlery. We only realized this later, at a park. I had to beg a chip truck for plastic forks. I waved $5 in the face of the chip truck lady, but she gave me forks for free. This was my first Le Chop Shop experience. The food was good. Life is an adventure.

Food was very tasty! Highly recommend if you are in Old St-Jean. Eclectic menu. Items are very reasonably priced. Decor is a mish mash of asian & mexican paraphernalia.

I cannot RAVE enough, this place is to DIE FOR!! Thai, Mexican and Hawaiin cuisine made by the most incredible chef, love him for being open today so we can experience the most fantastic flavors I've ever had, the Ramen soup exquisite, tacos to die for, and perfect Thai dressing on my gorgeous salad, the chef is such a nice guy, friendly and made us feel like we were at home. it's a little out of the way but I will come to SJSR just for this!!!!!

Miso ramen with tataki beef was great. The beef was perfectly cooked, the egg was seasoned (as it should be) with a nice jelly center, and the soup had lots of vegetables and noodles. I also had the 5$ salad which was a perfect way to start my meal. It had a tasty dressing, and a nice variety of vegetables. I will be coming back next time I'm in the area

Despite a bit of cuisine confusion this place is pretty unique. It’s a bit all over the globe but it works. Ramen was pretty decent.
